Meet The Board
Tanesha Bannister
Tanesha Bannister is one of the founders for Lace ‘Em Up Travel. She serves as the President on the board and handles all skills training , camps and clinics.
She is the VA Recruting Director for Phenom, PGC Basketball Instructor, Horizons Edge Basketball Skills Trainer and boys Head Basketball Coach at Rocktown High school Varsity Boys. She has trained players at all levels, from grassroots to professional. In her spare time she enjoys playing basketball, reading and spending time with her family.

Natassia Bannister
Natassaia Bannister serves as the Vice President on the board. She has been with Lace ‘Em Up since 2020. She also helps to manage multiple teams within the organization.
She has been a Registered Nurse for 10+ years and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her wife, Tanesha and two children; Destinee who is in her first year at EMU and DJ who has been playing with Lace ‘Em Up since 2020.

Amy Curry
Amy Yam Curry- is part of the board for LaceEmUp Travel.
She specializes in finance and is a Manager of Credit Operations for Guy Brown, LLC.
Amy joined the LaceEmUp team in 2020
In her spare time she enjoys cooking, attending VT football and basketball with her family.
She has a background in working with basketball non-profits, due to her son Chaysen playing since 2016 (3rd grade).
She believes in giving back to the community, and feels LaceEmUp is an amazing program to work with local youth.

Shaquela Corbin
Shaquela Corbin Shaquela is one of the Co founders of LaceEmUp travel. Shaquela began her coaching career in 2011. In addition to Coaching, she also works in Youth Development as a Site Coordinator for a local youth empowerment organization.
Kristi Van Sickle
Kristi Van Sickle-Has spent her career in youth development. Kristi is the director of programs for On the Road Collaborative where she created the Emerging Chefs program. Kristi believes in youth voice and strong youth mentorship supporting youth in their own self determination.
